On behalf of MineShield, CEO Connie Hendren accepts the “The New Business of the year” award at the annual Chamber of Commerce’s Farm City Banquet.

In a recent article and award ceremony, MineShield was recognized for bringing an estimated 35 full-time jobs to the Garrard County. “MineShield’s chambers are on track to be the first ones to meet MSHA standards and mines accross the country will begin installing them. That increased demand would allow MineShield’s to employ up to 200 people at two locations in Lancaster and make an expansion of more than 15,000 square feet.”

“Hendren explained that they are also working with a mining equipment manfacturing company in China, to be the first permanently certified company to produce the chambers.”
